Pytiak Design Build specializes in custom residential and commercial construction. Smart design, old world craftsmanship, and energy efficiency are all hallmarks of PDB projects. Walter Pytiak grew up the son of a trim carpenter, and worked in construction in one form or another his entire life. He founded his construction company, Walter Pytiak & Company in 1972. In the years following, he built a reputation of honesty, integrity, and quality custom construction. He personally has completed hundreds of custom residential projects, in addition to completing a vast array of commercial construction. Now in 2018, Walter has officially joined forces with his son Mark in creating Pytiak Design Build, to continue the tradition of construction excellence that is synonymous with the Pytiak name in Southeast Michigan.

Mark Pytiak grew up in the construction industry learning from his father Walter from a young age. After graduating from college from Western Michigan University, Mark started Green Home Energy in 2010 to capture the growing energy efficiency market in Michigan. Green Home Energy quickly became a preferred contractor of both DTE Energy and Consumers Energy in their Energy Star retrofit program. Mark has personally completed over 450 home performance projects, and holds a number of building science training certifications as well as his state of Michigan builders license. After working the past few years more closely with his father completing new construction and renovation projects, they have officially joined forces creating Pytiak Design Build.
